Pastor Eric Skidmore became a believer at a young age but often says he feels he spent “40 years in the wilderness” before he was awakened to the message of the true gospel that exalts the finished work of Christ. Pastor Eric has served 7 years on staff at a large local church in a pastoral and teaching capacity. His pastoral ministry at GCH is weekly, anointed, revelatory teaching of the gospel of grace. He believes as Christ is magnified, the people will be edified and God will be glorified. Pastor Eric’s passion is to open eyes and hearts to the beauty of Christ and His gospel, enabling people to experience the glorious liberty and life found in Christ.
Deborah Skidmore experienced religion without love growing up in a home where her father was a minister of music in a large denomination. Everything changed when she experienced the love of Christ at age 21. She now shares a joint calling in the gospel of grace with her husband, teaching and ministering at SonKissed, the women’s ministry of GCH. Deborah has a heart of love for God’s people. Her passion is to see the brokenhearted healed, hope renewed and lives restored through the love of Jesus Christ.
Eric and Deborah reside in Friendswood, Texas and enjoy traveling and spending time with their family. They are blessed with 4 beautiful daughters, 2 sons-in-grace, and 4 highly favored grandchildren.
